Re: God Save the King!

I woke up at 5 am this morning to watch it live. Even had tea and crumpets, jam tarts, shortbread and Battenburg cake to celebrate as I watched. It was amazing to watch. I think my favorite parts are the anointing and when Prince William gave his oath. Just loved it!

So which one did you end up getting?
The £50 one. 😄 I'll leave it in the paper folder until my coin capsule arrives, and transfer it over. Honestly don't care a whole lot for the others. The £5 is the only other one I halfway like, only because my mom also turns 75 this year. 😄

Re: LOTR movie trilogy 20th anniversary

Wasn't sure where else to post this but I'm in Calgary right now for the Fan Expo that is on for four days (attending all four), and on Saturday there's an event called Return of the Hobbits, and I will get to meet and have my photo taken with Wood, Astin, Boyd, and Monaghan. :thumbs_up Oh, and ton...

Re: Login Issue

Hmm, the cookie clear fix worked on both my work computer and my phone. So crazy/frustrating that things wont work across the board! Something else weird...I didn't write this, lol. That might have been me :P I typed that. I bet I hit edit instead of quote. Chalk it up as a forum update kink! :D :l...

Re: Login Issue

I'm able to login via my laptop, but not my phone. Even after clearing history/cookies, etc. :(

I know it's a major pain for you but are you opening and inspecting them before shipping or do we have to request it, just like before?
No worries! Swords are much easier than staves and helmets. Who all wants inspections besides Val?
I do, I do! :big_wave:

RIP Thranduil

It is with a heavy heart that I just found out that our beloved Thranduil passed away on October 4. It was posted on Facebook by someone close to the family. I'm so sorry to relate the news, but knew you all would want to know. :(

Re: United Cutlery's - The Hobbit - Movie Props!

Dont tell the masses this otherwise everyone is going to ask me to inspect prior to shipping :p. Wasn't so bad before but now with 100+ pre-orders, I might need to hire someone for shipping day! As long as you inspect mine, we're good. And mine! I didn't know where to request that since it ...

Re: New Weta everywhere you look!

I had thought of only making 2 and at the same time. Would save on set up time and material costs. I kind of thought Arwyniel would be most interested. It's the kind of project you don't want to do many of and as you said shipping would be stupid. I am definitely still interested, we will just have...

Re: New Weta everywhere you look!

Yes, it came from Weta. I've tried massaging the cover and smoothing out the affected pages (about 1/3 of them). It's looking a little better. There is no protection for the book. It's wrapped in plastic and then a cardboard mailer. With as heavy as the book is, I would think super corrugated cardbo...
