I think the biggest concern would be if the United States became involved in the conflict, then it would be a big worry

i've often wondered how obi-wan ended up with the same lightsaber in ep 1 and 2 as darth maul kicked it down that shaft.

They had something about this in weapons and warfare about the technology that the numenorians possessed and i think had a range chart for them, but not having the book to hand can't check. :confused:

Yeah its supposed to be rusty to match the effects in the movies. I've got the knife of strider and narsil :)

I thought all the actor were great in their scenes and it is huge travesty that Ian Mckellen didn't win an oscar for his performance of gandalf the grey. That really annoyed me :mad: :mad: .

It just makes sense as both weapons were made in gondolin and they killed a balrog so maybe orcrist does belong to this guy. :)

If orcist is a similarly noble blade to that of glamdring it makes sense that it would of been used by a high ranking elf in gondolin. I can't remember the silmirilian very well but at the fall of gondolin doesn't someone fight and kill a balrog, perhaps this is orcist and the original owner :)
