Unless the proven owner is not the guy that sold it to you and can prove the guy sold it without their permission, I think he has nothing. Even then you could argue, you will wait to see if he is found guilty of stealing it in a court of law. Yeah, I thought about that "version" he could ...

I bought it privately on our version of Craigslist or something. I got it very cheap considering what R-S lists it for. And... of course the seller must have found out the real value of it, because I just got an email where he claims he regrets selling it, he wasn't supposed to etc... and he wants m...

Only the other set from Royal Selangor with the shot glasses, and it doesnt have all the pieces and still is set to £600 or $922. Oh of course I didnt check Royal Selangors webpage... I just purchased the War of the Rings chess set from Royal Selangor. It is the standard edition in pewter and copper, not the shotglass version. It has the board and chess pieces. Too bad UC are weird with their QC, but at least we know the difference between the 1st and 2nd run (for those that this matters).

Kit; do you have information on how many were actually made of the other LE like Helmet of Elendil, Isildur, Gimli, Gondor, Witchking...?

My Sauron helmet base has the same issue, the hole is too large for the post. Other than that, no issues with the helmet.

Well happy to say I got the sword of Fili and it is 100% fine without and rattling from the handle. The sword of Kili had the same issues as mentioned before so it was returned to Budk.

I am not an e xp ert on bows, but looking at the design of Tauriel's bow, beautiful though it is, can it be that useable? I mean, with the different curves in the wood, can it get a decent draw-power, or would just the outer part of the bow create the tension?

If the Boromir sword didn't sell that well, does that mean not many were made, or did UC have a set amount decided beforehand? I've always wondered approx. how many of the different non-limited swords were made.

Never had a problem with VS myself. Replies fast to emails and ships fast after payment. I haven't had a reason to return anything though, so I cannot speak on that service. About the shield.
