Re: Shire Post Kickstarter

Valkrist wrote: Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:42 pm Also, in a previous email, Tom announced that he is so confident the add-ons will put them over the $30k mark, that he is including the Rivendell copper moon along with the Raven penny as a free bonus. :thumbs_up
I was very happy to see that! :)

Re: Shire Post Kickstarter

They announced in the comments that they would take all the add ons into consideration. If they meet $30,000 with add ons we can still get the goal unlocked. The only thing is, I don't really want two copper moons. I added one to my pledge in hopes to help unlock the goal. If I add another and they ...

Re: Shire Post Kickstarter

Less than 2 hours left on the kickstarter! I was hoping we'd hit that next stretch goal to get the extra copper moon, but I think they were a bit too ambitious with their goals. I think $25,000 would've been a more realistic threshold than $30,000. Hopefully we'll get lucky and more pledges will com...

Do you have a photo of that standing in your living room.
No, it's not really something I've ever thought of photographing.

Re: New Weta everywhere you look!

Thank you to all three ladies for being gentle with me. :inlove: The statue is growing a little more on me, and despite my criticism, I feel that I will get it because she is a very important character and I don't have Dernhelm (and no plans to buy it either, despite it being a cheap statue.) I thi...

Diorama Line

So Weta announced on Facebook yesterday that they are working on a 1:30 scale diorama line. You can add to it piece by piece over time. They are currently working on the Dol Guldur scene. Thoughts? Personally, I'm about done collecting. I think all I really want to add is Eowyn's scabbard, Hadhafang...

Buckeye, for your records, the NC item numbers for the Aragorn pipe and the Bilbo pipe are NN9521 and NN9764, respectively.
Very impressive record keeping, btw! :thumbs_up

Re: Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas from our home to yours! Arwyniel, are those two little ones yours? And if they are, they didn't object at all to being "dressed up"? Yes, those are my "kids". They don't mind, the girl (grey one) even dances around because she knows she's extra cute. I don't put ...

Re: The Battle of the Pelennor Fields

Here is another piece I'd recommend. If you've never seen the symphony performed in a concert hall, you simply must go if the opportunity arises again. I've been to Cleveland to see Howard Shore himself conduct it the first time, and locally it was performed in my hometown the second time by another...
