That sounds insane (though I understand the cost reasons why it wasn't done) - I've recently begun converting my polyresin version - I've filled the screw holes and have begun adding a real oak veneer over the print areas. wish me luck!

No worries N2, yeah curator ageing fluid works wonders in metal, I'm guessing Montana gold has metallic powder in it as it seems to age that down too.
