Re: What is everyone playing these days?

Totally understandable. I remember when I was a music comp major, all those 1-2 credit classes were killer. You have a higher credit load plus a higher class load because the Universities don't properly give the classes a proper credit count. Some of these classes are worth 4-5 credits easy. That's ...

... but I don't know when I'll have time to play it. Soon, my friend... soon. You are so close, the light at the end of the tunnel is near! You can do it! Power through your last bit of schooling and then you'll find the bliss on the other side. Working a full time job is like a full time vacation ...

Re: Game Of Thrones

I am hoping that is the plan. I hope that all the things that are happening are in future books that we just haven't caught up with yet. Just as of now, it seems a little out of touch.

Re: What is everyone playing these days?

I am still chugging a long with Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I am way behind, havent played last years AC yet either, and a new one is coming up! I gotta hurry. Yeah, I am way behind on AC too. I finished AC I, II, and brotherhood. I am officially half-way through AC Revelations, skipped III like a...

Re: Game Of Thrones

A slow burner, but still replete with tragedy, like a certain death near the end of the episode last night. That was really sad and brutal. Now, I am typically the first one to give visual artists the benefit of the doubt, but this season has had waaaaay too many deviations in my opinion. And not e...

I'll do a remix with Dr. Dre and Willy Nelson layered over top.

Re: Comic Cons

Anyone here coming to Indianapolis for GenCon, the largest board game convention in the States? I'll be working a booth with a friend if anyone wants to come say hi!

Re: Pure Middle-Earth discussion.

Fin, you make a very good point about the parallels. I myself have just finished reading Children of Hurin and in Chris' notes about the book, there is a mention of a ton of different plot lines being shared, repeated, rehashed, reconfigured and that over the course of 80+ years there were some dupl...

Re: United Cutlery's - The Hobbit - Movie Props!

That looks really good. :thumbs_up Are the top 2 wings separate pieces? I'm curious as to how fragile this will be. The whole front mask, including the wings, is cast separate from the helm shell, as it was on the prop. That's probably how it will be done in production. It's poly, and thin, so it w...

Framed yet? Very excited to hear about her reaction!

Re: What is everyone playing these days?

Next game on my list is Arkham Knight. Some initial impressions have me a little concerned. Many claim its gone too far away from what Arkham Asylum originally was. I have enjoyed both games in the series so far - I don't count Origins because that was pretty meh - and I hope I enjoy this last chap...

Re: Palantir?

Do we know how tall the pedestal was overall? I wonder what it would take for me to build the bottom of this... Maybe a high density foam topped with granite?
