Those are some great pics! Thanks!

I saw an article about those a few days ago and have already set aside some money for when they come out (this summer, i think).

First, you are never to old for legos. Second, my wife was the one who said we needed to start saving for all the sets, so save we shall!

Oh I don't disagree with you good sir, but between cars, guns, and LOTR/Medieval memorabilia I don't know that I could afford to let myself get back into legos.

I won't be getting these but... are they going to release a LOTR Lego videogame soon? I loved Star Wars and Indiana Jones Lego Adventures, they were great games to play and I want one that is LOTR based.

I swear I read that they are indeed developing at least 2 games.

I am excited that I can get these sets for over 20% off, so I am definitely adding them all to the list.

Hilarious trailers for the Lego Lord of the Rings sets coming soon - watch them in the order linked as they are four consecutive chapters! Obvious liberties taken with the story, but this is just for fun and to promote the sets and locations, so enjoy, they are extremely funny.

Lastly, here is the trailer for the game I was asking about in my last post. It's finally coming and I will be picking it up for sure.

Edit: Sorry Rev, I had to remove your image, it was stretching the thread way too much.

Totally hilarious, thanks for the great laughs Val.
Loved it when they bopped Lego with the snow ball (pun impossible to avoid).

I love how they introduce Boromir as just "an ordinary man." Of course that he is, and I did enjoy many of the changes made for obvious fun reasons, like not killing off Boromir. But either way, so things were totally unnecessary because the kids aren't going to understand the narration anyways...

NP about the picture, bigger than I thought.

Wow... how insanely cool is this?!? :coolsmile

Simply amazing what they did.

My two favourite shots are the closeup of the two elves with the mortar and ammo crate, and the one with the smiling peasant on the wall with the pitchfork. Priceless!

Also, if you look closely at the long shot of the battlement from the inside, you can spot Gimli on the wall, and in the closeup with the Uruk-hai berserker coming over the wall, you can see Aragorn's head amid a sea of elves. :thumbs_up

Looks like Legolas is right beside Aragorn in that sea, long blond hair?
That is very cool :)

Actually, I believe that is Haldir because he's wearing a red cloak. I think Legolas is the other long blond-haired elf next to Gimli. :P
