Not sure if anyone has posted this elsewhere in the forum. Noticed this on the Nobel Collection site today. I may have to pick this one up. It would be great if UC came out with one of these! http://www.noblecollection.com/index.cf ... 6&catid=91

Nice catch, that must be brand new as I was on their site just a few days ago and it wasn't there.

It looks good, but the handle and blade don't look as aged and dark as what we've seen in photos from the movie thus far. This looks like a 'new' version of Thorin's dwarven sword, kinda like what UC did with the shiney, non-MC Sword of Samwise.

Speaking of UC, I think I might hold out for their version of this blade as I am sure they will make one eventually. However, they do seem to be lagging a bit behind on stuff lately.

I'm sure UC will do this also. Kit had said they were going to do the "wait and see" approach on future releases and do them in small series to give the line some length so collectors could have some time to catch up between releases.

Wow that's a fine looking blade. Definitely a lot more pristine than what we've seen in the previews, though. Great plaque as ever from NC. Hopefully UC will make this one, if not, I might just have to get this at some point.

I do prefer the quality of UC swords over Noble swords, although I've always been pleased with the Gryffindor sword I purchased from Noble a couple of years ago. I would be VERY surprised if UC doesn't eventually produce Thorin's sword as well though.
