Greetings all! I fell in love with Tolkien's world while the movies were coming out, and I spent many hours on The Fantasy Forum and browsing the UC website, hoping I would have the funds to start collecting one day. I did save up enough at the time to nab the Shards, but as I went off to school and my priorities shifted I allocated my limited funds elsewhere. When I heard that UC was going through bankruptcy, I figured that was that and lost interest in collecting.
Flash forward to today - I find that not only is UC alive and still in the replica business, but I still wanted to collect as much as I did twenty years ago! I'm very fortunate to have found this board as I've already found invaluable information and inspiration from the wealth of knowledge contained within. I want to give a special thanks to those of you who bring these items from the screen to our hands, and I hope that what meager knowledge and expertise I bring to the table will help someone else down the road.

Welcome!!
Surely as I have been able to verify in these years that I have been here, you will see that this forum is the best, friendliest and most civilized place for LOTR replicas collectors, full of wisdom and cordiality.
