This is one field United should stay out of in my opinion, afterall, it is United CUTLERY.
People may argue that they make helms, and the Gauntlet, all forms of armour true enough, but it's actually Windlass Steel Crafts that made them for United, so...stick with what you're doing now UC.

Ive asked this same question before aswell, and Ive got the same answer. Kit Rae has said UC has no plans for armour, and im sure if you would like I could find a quote of kit rae actually posting that. Shame though, I would really like a gondorian soldiors suit of armour, or a sauron suit of armour, or a...and so on and so forth:laugh_pur

And you're right, I was not beating the petition down, but stating what is pretty much fact. If United doesn't even make the pieces in their line-up that are considered armour, then there is simply no chance they will be making suits of armour. It is a field in which they are unfamiliar, and do not specialise in.
I think you need to take the time and read what people are saying. Contrary to what you may think, we are not out to get you, but thinking we are doesn't give you the right to complain everytime someone doesn't agree with what you say.
