I have never heard of anyone ever making a reproduction of one of the silmarils- i don't suppose that they would be too difficult to make though.
Glamdring, Sting, Hadhafang, Strider sword, Legolas' Fighting knives, Aragorn's elven knife, Herugrim, Gimli's Battle Axe, Gimli's Walking Axe, Gandalf's staff, Saruman's staff, Eowyns sword, Scabbards:Glamdring(blue), Aragorn's ranger sword, Legolas' fighting knives, sting- hope to have alot more!!!

that would have to be a really bright light as the silmarils carry the light of the two trees of the valar- the size i don't believe is ever mentioned in the silmarillion either

But in my treasures book of middle earth, about the three silmarils i have that :

Silmarilli : ( brillance or jewels of similia )
Silimia is : shinning Substance made by craft.

Made to trap and then shine with the light of the Two trees.
The substance was crystalline, unbreakable, and could magically trap and hold light.
The GEMS : The jewels were stolen by Melkor, they were set into
the iron crown.

After i don't know, gems, spheres, for me it's gems ...

But i thinks you can do that :
Buy a crystal sphere or gems, and take a light.

SPHERE :
You can find this items here :

on EBAY : N° 160235052719 , 150241528823 , 120256259634 ... and other

After for the light ( telperion and Laurelin ), use yellow and white LED for the gold and silver light.

On ebay : Item number: 230247088118 , 260234688121 , 120254683842 ...

For me the best result, is with a gems.

What do you thinks about this idea ?

( sorry for my english )
So,
Does anyone know where you can pick up a replica of a Silmaril?

SF
Well, no one really knows what they look like do they? I've never seen any version of a Silmaril...

I think a "palantir" replica would be really cool, too.
