Just wanted to say congrats to the local highschool softball team, which my neice is the starting catcher for. They came in 2nd place in the state 4A tournament. Going 15 innings and over 4 hours (a high school softball game is only supposed to be 7 innings) with the team who eventually won (of course) who were not only ranked #1 in the state, but were ranked #1 in the country, and who havent lost a game in now 38 straight games, actually they lost the first game of the season.

This is the furthest this school's softball team has ever gone, and actually is the furthest any of this school's women's team has gone (actually playing for the state championship) They have nothing to be ashamed of. That #1 ranked team in the country had to fight to win this game. The lady dogs played like champions, just came up a little short.
