Ok now a Riddle contest. I will make the first riddle and you can guess away then I will give the answer then someone else can come and make a riddle.
The Riddle:
Why worry about guns there is another weapon all humans have. This weapon can bring down governments, destroy lives and can cause people to hate themselves. What is it?
Re: Riddles in the dark
3no. Think carefully... we use it every single day of our lives. it is not a knife or a fork and its something that most people use (I will e xp lain why only most people use it once we have the answer)
"All those moments will be lost, in time... like tears, in the rain..."

Re: Riddles in the dark
7dpegasusm and Thorin were both righ. We use thoughts to think of the words and then we use the words. ok who is the next riddler?
"All those moments will be lost, in time... like tears, in the rain..."
Re: Riddles in the dark
8What is shiny, has a rounded spoon-like end, and is used as an eating utensil?
-_-
Re: Riddles in the dark
10XD! lol hmmmm.... a fork?

Re: Riddles in the dark
13Well, technically a tea-spoon is used for stirring tea, or putting sugar in it. You said 'eating' utensil, so you must mean a soup-spoon instead.
The question then becomes, what's wrong with you?

Re: Riddles in the dark
14Technically you don't eat soup, you slurp it! It's a totally different mouth-action. And these days we have two flat metal things shaped like ovals on our tables: teaspoons and tablespoons! Tell me, what is a spoon shaped like a table used for?!
-_-
Re: Riddles in the dark
15Slurping, my dear friend, is terribly bad table etiquette. You do eat soup, especially if it's chunky: you gotta chew it. (see invention of spork for more on this.)
No wonder you look so sour in your avatar pic: you've been eating your cereal with a tiny tea-spoon, and that takes far too long.

Re: Riddles in the dark
16Out of curiosity though, and on a more serious note, do you really refer to your primary eating spoon as a soup spoon up there? I take it you're being technical but I wonder how many people still observe that terminology (besides high-class restaurants that you need a suit to get into).
New riddle: I spy something brown -- what is it?

Re: Riddles in the dark
17Soup spoon and tablespoon are used interchangeably. I'm not sure if there's a preference for one over the other, though tablespoon should logically be more prevalent since, despite its presence on a table, one may not be having soup at all.
Answer to your riddle: poop.

Re: Riddles in the dark
18Gross! Wrong.
Hmmm really? Tablespoons are big though! What's the difference here, terminology or culture altogether?
