Sister City

Well, who knew?
I just found out that Upper Hutt, New Zealand is a Sister City to Mesa, AZ.
Mesa (where I live) is a municipality in the Phoenix metro area.
So I guess I have a legitimate reason now (cultural exchange) to visit Middle Earth.
Would finally get to see the Southern Cross and all those other constellations well south of Orion's belt.
And maybe even take one of those boat tours to Antarctica .
...except.... I hate to fly.
So I will have to give this some considerable thought....
