What it is like in the lower deserts of Arizona (where I live), during our "monsoon season" mid July thru mid September....

When were you in Tempe?
Having moved here over 30 years ago, I was probably here around the same time you were in Tempe... and right next door, so to speak, in Mesa.

Well, it's that time of year again in Arizona.....MONNNNNSOOOOOOON!!!!!!
Actually nothing spectacular (weather-wise) has happened...yet.

So I thought I would post a pic from the 2016 monsoon....I know I was here for this "event" but I don't recall hearing about it.
Anyway, a microburst hit somewhere in the metro area.

Nope, that photo was taken on May 18th of last year, and it is directly over Deimos' house. That was the day I posted that Amazon US would be changing the title of the new Beren & Luthien book.

Another time lapse film of the AZ monsoon storms by the same guy that did the first one I posted about (Mike Olbinski) .
He's done at least a half dozen more.
I viewed a few of them . They are all on Youtube.
But I thought this one was a little better than the others (except that they are all good).
