RIP, David Warner

1
I just found out that the fabulous British character actor David Warner died over the weekend, age 80, from complications of cancer. He was in SO MANY things over the years. He had three appearances in Star Trek: St. John Talbot in ST V, Gorkon in ST VI, and Gul Madred in TNG's Chains of Command. He usually played villains but could play really great good guys too, like Bob Cratchit in the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol (the wonderful version with George C. Scott as Scrooge). He leaves behind a very respectable legacy and it's sad to know he won't be giving us any more performances to remember. RIP!

Very sad.

Aside from his roles in Star Trek, I also remember him well from playing Jack the Ripper in Time After Time (based on HG Wells' Time Machine), and a small but memorable role as a tragic photographer in The Omen.

R.I.P., David.

Actor Paul Sorvino passed away today as well.
