I was certain I had asked this before but couldn't find it in my history nor in any search. For folks that have seen, own, or have owned both the LoTR and Hobbit version of Legolas' fighting knives... which version is better? Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen the newest edition, 3001, but 1372 had lots of variations in color in the handles. I'm under the impression that 3001 has consistently lighter handle color. Other than that, I don't know if there's much variation. The paint on the blades is probably applied better, too.

Don't forget the plaque also, which was changed. Although I like the new version better, I own the older one and find it provides a very nice contrast to the Tauriel knives plaque, which is identical to the new Legolas plaque. If you are looking for variety on your wall and own Tauriel's knives, go with the older Legolas set.
