I wish there were more shields from the LOTR collections. The Elven Warrior shield was just a little over the top for my taste. Almost alien. I really like a more realistic and museum look.

I agree, Steel Servant. I've been on the verge of buying the Elven Shield many times now, but have talked myself out of it everytime. The shield by itself does look pretty "spacey", but with the Elven Helm, and EWS together, displays look SWEET! A Rohirrim shield, like Eowyn's/Dernhelm's shield would have been nice. Supposedly, Boromir's shield was going to be a possibility years ago, which as a limited edition woulda' been a nice edition.

#2004 arrived today and is broken. Working with the company to get it replaced, so until that happens I won't post much more about it... but assuming all goes well and I get a replacement, I'll definitely have some pics.

One of the planks is split the entire lenght of the sheild. It's right between where the leather handle is. The metal strip along top and bottom are the only things holding it together... about 1/4 inch gap. Once I get it replaced I'll post the pics.

Woot! Proud new owner of a PRISTINE Numenorian Shield #2449

As promised... here's the pics of the broken shield that I had to send back for replacement... #2004... it was a little TOO battle damaged.
