This year's ornaments will apparently be the Transporter Chamber from the 1701 w/Kirk, Spock, and Scott figures, and a base mounted (and much more accurate looking) 1701. Apparently the theme this year is TOS, in light of the 40th anniversary. See pics here (scroll way down or use edit/search to find Hallmark):

You may also note on that page, links to pix of a Master Replicas prototype of the TOS Enterprise...it might be really cool if they actually produce this!

Well, I got the ornaments today and I must say they are very cool. The 1701 is decently detailed and plays the TOS theme music when you press a bit (sounds a bit cheesy through that tiny speaker--oh well). The transporter chamber has great sound and light effects. The figures don't actually disappear, of course, but it's still a neat ornament.
