So it appears that the miniature shield line will continue to e xp and. Is anyone else going to pick these up?

I guess all these Rohan Shields will have to make up for the severe lack of Guthwine in the collectible market!

Lol! They may partially fill the void of being Guthwine-less. We gotta take what we can get I guess. Looking forward to Rivendell as well!

Why are they re-doing these shields? I seem to remember some of them being released a few years ago, so is this just for the people that missed out the first time?

I don't believe these were ever released. Sideshow/Weta pre-showcased them a few years ago in a display, but I wasn't aware of them ever being made available for purchase until now.



Rough, do you get the Weta Newsletter? I got one today and it had a picture of some of the guys at Weta Workshop looking over the original miniature of Rivendell from the Trilogy and I was like "Well I know they were talking about this environment being big, but that's absurd!" Then I realized it was the film big-ature and had a major facepalm moment

I have no doubt you are right, but I just can't shake the feeling I saw these before, and not recently at all. Probably that preview you are talking about. Either that, or my memory is mixing them up with the helms and weapon set miniatures that they did release.

have Easterling Miniature Shield, Númenórean Miniature Shield & Gil-galad's Miniature Shield and will buy what ever else they make in this line. they all look excellent

Ordered all 4 in a package. Unfortunatly I don't have space in my room for the UC shields so this is a great alternative.

Definitely a great alternative, Naz. You'll be happy with them. Have you seen the poster they released with all the prospected shields on it? That line is going to be awesome.

High Elven and Moria Orc would be so awesome.

I think they want to and can release them all, it just depends on fan interest.
