Well we don't know, seeing as we haven't seen the movie Smaug yet. But this piece was based off of John Howe's painting, Smaug the Golden. As a matter of fact, I was just on Weta's site looking at those pics, since Tim told us they were up over on The Flame. I'm glad to see the piece finally ready. After all the problems they had, it's a relief to have it all fixed. I'd buy it if I wasn't keeping my money for Rivendell. I think the new base really makes the sculpt pop out at you and helps you appreciate both Mr. Howe's artistry and that of the sculptor.

Oh well I was just hoping, I really want to see what hes going to look like. Nice choice the Rivendell looks like its going to be awesome.
