Yesterday I was privileged to behold the total solar eclipse, my second in seven years. It was fantastic. I'll post a bit more about it later, after I've had time to compose my thoughts.

You and my BF in St Louis. I have yet to see one.
But I did see a full annular one (2012? 2013?) Drove up to Winslow AZ for a day.
(And, yes, I stood on the corner before I left .... "Well, I'm a-standin' on a corner in Winslow Arizona..., )
If I'm still around in Aug 2045, I'll try to make my way up to Provo UT for that one.

I was able to see it as well. It was just as amazing as 2017. I'm bummed I'll probably never see another one again, but I cherish the two I was able to see.

I was also able to see the total eclipse (my first and likely only). It required driving nearly 11 hours each way . . . but it was absolutely worth it. Awesome experience.

Most people don't get to see even one. You are fotunate indeed.
Even if one is in the path of totality, the weather may not cooperate.
One person was in the PofT and right before Totality he said a big cloud floated in front of the sun.
Everything still darkened but he missed the corona and "Diamond Ring".
